多感觉刺激是意识障碍目前常用的预后评估方法和干预手段。然而，嗅觉作为一个最基础的感觉刺激，常常被人忽视。鉴于嗅觉系统独特的解剖属性，探索嗅觉意识的神经相关物有可能打开未来意识研究的大门。嗅觉刺激很可能会成为最简便易行的评估和治疗方法。

Abstract:

Multiple sensory stimulation is a common prognostic evaluation and intervention method for patients with disorders of consciousness. However， as one of the most basic sensory stimulations， olfaction is often neglected. Due to its unique anatomical properties， the study of neural correlates of olfactory consciousness may open the door of the research on consciousness in the future. Olfactory stimulation may become the most convenient assessment and treatment method for disorders of consciousness.
