Abstract:The Notch signaling pathway is a highly conserved cellular signaling mechanism that plays an important role in development, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis.Glioma, especially glioblastoma (GBM), are highly aggressive brain tumors whose biology is closely related to the Notch signaling pathway. This article reviews the role of Notch signaling pathway in glioblastoma and its related mechanisms, and discusses its prospect as a potential therapeutic target.
